ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ |
Με αφορμή το projectστο σχολικό εγχειρίδιο Αγγλικά Ε’ Δημοτικού English 5thGrade (writetotheMayorofyourtown/city), οι μαθητές δραματοποιούν την συνεδρίαση ενός εικονικού δημοτικού συμβουλίου στην οποία πολίτες δυσαρεστημένοι με την έλλειψη κάδων ανακύκλωσης στην πόλη, ζητούν από την Δήμαρχο να αντιμετωπίσει το θέμα της ανακύκλωσης πιο σοβαρά. Οι διάλογοι ετοιμάστηκαν από τους ίδιους τους μαθητές τις προηγούμενες δύο διδακτικές ώρες με τη βοήθεια της εκπαιδευτικού (Παράρτημα 2, φύλλο εργασίας 1). Στο τέλος της συνεδρίασης όλοι μαζί τραγουδούν το ‘The 3 Rs’ byJackson (Παράρτημα 2, φύλλο εργασίας 2) Στη συνέχεια οι μαθητές σε ομάδες των τεσσάρων παίζουν ένα επιτραπέζιο παιχνίδι στο οποίο καλούνται να διαχειριστούν διάφορα απορρίμματα. |

ΕΦΑΡΜΟΖOΝΤΑΣ ΔΗΜΙΟΥΡΓΙΚΑ Κάνοντας πράγματα με ενδιαφέρον τρόπο Μεταφέροντας τη γνώση και τις ικανότητες από ένα περιβάλλον και προσαρμόζοντας τα σε ένα διαφορετικό-βγάζοντας δηλαδή κάτι έξω από το οικείο του περιβάλλον και κάνοντάς το να λειτουργήσει και σε κάποιο άλλο. Το παράδειγμα της συνεδρίασης ενός εικονικού δημοτικού συμβουλίου που αναφέρθηκε παραπάνω δημιουργεί την απαραίτητη επικοινωνιακή περίσταση, στην οποία καλούνται οι μαθητές να αυτενεργήσουν με προσομοίωση και δραματοποίηση. Η ελευθερία έκφρασης λόγου και η υποστήριξη της γλώσσας του σώματος επιτρέπουν τη συμμετοχή των μαθητών με αυξημένο το κιναισθητικό στιλ μάθησης. |

A CITY COUNCIL
CHAIRMAN: Mrs. Mayor, today some citizens are here because they want to talk to you about an important issue.
MAYOR: Ok. I’m listening.
CITIZEN 1: Mrs. Mayor there are not enough recycling bins in our city.
CITIZEN 2: Our neighbourhoods are dirty.
CITIZEN 3: We want to recycle but we can’t!
MAYOR: There are some recycling bins outside the Town Hall and in some places downtown.
CITIZEN 4: Yes, but I live in Palagia. There are no bins there!
CITIZEN 5: I live in Apalos. There are no bins in Apalos!
CITIZEN 6: I live in Chili. Should I bring my rubbish downtown every day?
CITIZEN 7: I live in Makri. Must I carry my litter on the bus?
CITIZEN 8: What about schools? I am a teacher and I want to teach my pupils to recycle, but there isn’t a recycling bin in the school yard!
CITIZEN 9: The bin in my neighbourhood is broken!
CHAIRMAN: Ok. We understand the situation, but we don’t have money to buy bins.
MAYOR: Today nobody has money in this country…
CITIZEN 10: You are the Mayor. You have power. Ask for money from the government!
CITIZEN 11: How much does a recycling bin cost?
CHAIRMAN – MAYOR: Hmmm… We don’t know…
ALL CITIZENS: You don’t know?
CITIZEN 12: Let’s call the TV Channels!
MAYOR: No, wait! Not the TV, please! I’ll think of something!
ALL CITIZENS: You have one week! We’ll be back next Tuesday!
MAYOR: Ok. I am going to buy recycling bins for our city. I am going to keep our city clean.
